Karmine Corp's "It's FF Time" is the top-selling Global Emote in the LEC
Riot Games launched its new Global Emotes on August 28, featuring designs created by Tier 1 professional League of Legends teams from LEC, LPL, LCK, LCS, VCS, PCS, LLA, and CBLOL. This new feature is part of Riot’s strategy to provide teams with additional revenue streams, with 30% of each emote's sales going directly to the teams. Priced at 350 RP, or about 2 euros, each emote earns teams 0.7 euros per sale.
A team stood out
In Europe, LEC teams have regularly received updates on emote sales rankings, prompting some to announce their positions. This month, Riot Games shared the latest rankings with teams, and various sources confirmed the results to Sheep Esports. The data highlights Karmine Corp's outstanding performance, as their emote sales vastly surpassed the combined total of all other nine teams combined, reaching a six-digit result.
However, it’s worth highlighting that teams have generally expressed disappointment with the overall performance of these emote sales.

A reflection of fanbases?
While these sales numbers reflect to some degree the dedication of each team's fanbase, the attractivity of individual emotes also plays a role. We believe that Karmine Corp's "It's FF Time" emote, in particular, stands out for its unique design.
Similar results were shared by Riot Games in March of this year for VALORANT teams after the introduction of VCT Team Capsules, with the top three teams in EMEA being Fnatic, Gentle Mates, and Karmine Corp, in that order.
