On Wednesday, January 8, the two groups for Flash In, the new tournament marking the start of the LFL season, have been announced. In a video shared on the French League of Legends league's X account, caster Jean “Trayton” Medzadourian and league manager Thomas “MaitreYoshi” conducted the group draw. Group A features Vitality.Bee, Joblife, GameWard, Gentle Mates, and Karmine Corp Blue. Meanwhile, Group B comprises Galions, BK ROG, BDS Academy, Solary, and Ici Japon Corp.

As a reminder, Flash In begins on January 22 and runs until February 27. The tournament unfolds across three phases, starting with the group stage. In this phase, each team will face the other four teams in its group in a BO1 format. The top four teams from each group will advance to the second phase, the Swiss Stage. This stage will be played in BO3 using the Hard Fearless format, where any champion picked during a series becomes unavailable for the remainder of that series for both teams.

Some Fearless Draft

Teams that achieve two victories in the Swiss Stage will progress to the playoffs, while those with two losses will be eliminated. First-round matchups will be determined based on group stage rankings: Group A's first-place team will face Group B's fourth-place team, Group A's second-place team will face Group B's third-place team, and so on. Subsequent matchups will be decided by random draw, with rematches permitted. Ultimately, four teams will advance to the playoff phase.

In the playoffs, teams qualifying from the Swiss Stage with a 2-0 record will compete in the Upper Bracket for a direct spot in the grand final. Teams advancing with a 2-1 record will battle in the Lower Bracket, with the winner facing the Upper Bracket's losing team for the second pot in the grand final. The playoffs will feature BO5 matches played under the Soft Fearless format: champions picked by a team cannot be selected again by that team, but remain available for their opponent.
