113 will be making his return to the LFL after 1 year in the LEC
Jungler Doğukan "113" Balcı has reached a verbal agreement with BK ROG Esports in the LFL, according to Sheep Esports Sources. Among other options that BK ROG considered were Cinkrof and Ferret.
Return to the LFL
In 2023, the 19-year-old Turkish jungler joined Denmark-based organization Astralis in the LEC where he competed in all 3 splits of the league. With Astralis officially announcing its withdrawal from the league, the young jungler has found himself without a home for the upcoming 2024 season.
Prior to his involvement with AST, 113 was most known by LFL fans for his tenure with Karmine Corp, during which he would win the EMEA Masters in spring of 2022.
While on Astralis, 113 and his team reached LEC Group stage in the winter and spring splits. Despite middling performances, the team defied expectations in spring by finishing in 2nd place of the LEC’s regular season in spring. The team would go on to finish in 9th place during summer, eliminating them from contention for the LEC Season Finals.
BK ROG in 2024
Now joining French-organization BK ROG, the Turkish jungler will be moving back to the LFL with hopes to replicate the same success he found during his last tenure in the league.
He will be joined by Top Laner Jeon "Howling" Ho-bin and Mid Laner Paweł "Czekolad" Szczepanik, both being currently set to renew their agreements with the organization for 2024. It is important to note that Czekolad's agreement still currently depends on other offers due to a clause allowing the Polish mid laner to accept any LCS or LEC offers if those would arise.
