XnS, a star performer for the TCL's BoostGate Esports, is moving to the LFL's best team
BK ROG, the reigning LFL champions, are replacing their jungler. The organization has reached a buyout agreement with BoostGate Esports for Enes "XnS" Hansu, a 21-year-old Turkish talent.
This move follows the sale of jungler Enes "Rhilech" Uçan to NAVI, who will not allow him to continue competing in the LFL this year. Rhilech is set to start for NAVI in the LEC beginning in 2026.
High demand for a breakout talent
MVP of the recent TCL Finals, XnS attracted interest from several teams early in the offseason. He was notably pursued by Papara SuperMassive and ULF Esports in the TCL, as well as Gentle Mates in the LFL. He was also considered by GIANTX Pride, in case they transferred Hakan "Ferret" Mert Çakmak to BK ROG—though that move fell through, as the two teams were unable to reach an agreement.
Last week, BK ROG also evaluated jungler Doğukan "113" Balcı as a potential option, but he ultimately joined Barça Esports instead.
This Spring, in his first EMEA Masters appearance, XnS made a strong impression by pushing Los Ratones to five games in a tense quarterfinal series. After defeating BoostGate, Los Ratones went on a dominant run, sweeping both BK ROG and Barça Esports. The Turkish champions were arguably the second-strongest team in the tournament, denied a spot in the final only due to the single-elimination bracket.
Aiming for redemption and a title
With the addition of XnS, BK ROG hopes to reinforce its roster and make a serious push for the EMEA Masters trophy—now held back-to-back by Los Ratones. Since the LFL's creation in 2019, it has stood as the strongest ERL region. But Los Ratones' recent victories marked only the second time that two consecutive EM titles were claimed by a non-LFL team, and the first time a non-LFL squad won them back-to-back.
As Summer approaches, other LFL teams are eager to topple BK ROG and reclaim domestic dominance, with eyes firmly set on the all-important EMEA Masters.
The TCL Champions selling their players
By selling XnS to BK ROG Esports, BoostGate continues a pattern of high-profile offseason transfers that includes Kang "Jool" Dong-soo to LOUD and Lim "ToongE" Ho-seon to Misa Esports. The organization’s decision to offload key players stems from a long-term philosophy centered on sustainable talent development. BoostGate has built a culture of scouting and nurturing both promising rookies and overlooked veterans, with the intent to help them shine in the right environment and eventually move on to bigger opportunities.
After a domestic title, BoostGate believes it proved the effectiveness of this model—even while operating on modest salaries compared to rival teams. However, the lack of structural support for minor league organizations in the EMEA system, combined with changes in funding and low financial returns despite competitive success, led BoostGate to pivot. The team has sold off key pieces of its title-winning roster and plans to give a chance to more upcoming talents in this summer split roster.
