Coldraa won the Superliga promotion tournament with Case Esports in 2023
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, the AD Carry Samet "Coldraa" Safran has reached a verbal agreement with Ramboot Club (RBT) and will be making his debut in the SuperLiga next season. The Spanish team already re-signed both Mihail "twohoyrz" Petkov and Marcin “iBo” Lebuda as they have now looked to secure their botlane, starting with the Turkish AD Carry. Coldraa should already be familiar with the Spanish ecosystem, since he played for Case Esports in the SuperLiga's 2nd Division, in 2023.
It was not the AD Carry's first spell in a second division of ERLs. The 22-year-old also won the Prime League Second Division in Spring 2022, with Hertha BSC. The team failed to promote at the time (2-3 against NNO), despite winning a consolation prize with the Prime Super Cup (3-1 against BIG) right after the promotion tournament.
Started from the bottom now we're here
Coldraa tried his luck a second time in another league with Case Esports - the following year - and won both Spring and Summer Split before also promoting with a win against UCAM (3-2). After that perfect year, the Turkish player got recruited into the LFL by Team Du Sud, and with a ninth-place finish, the French org decided to replace him with Nihat "Innaxe" Aliev for the Summer.
After a Split off, Coldraa will finally get the opportunity to play the same Superliga he got promoted into in 2023, this time with Ramboot Club. The team had strong results this Summer, finishing on the podium (3rd) after a more complicated Spring where they finished 7th. Qualified for the Swiss Stage of EMEA Masters, RBT didn't manage to get through it and reach playoffs, after a heartbreaking 3-4 finish (final loss to BK ROG: 1-2).
