Coaching Debut in the LCS
Goldenglue is set to make his coaching debut in the LCS, bringing a wealth of experience as a former mid laner for several LCS teams, including Cloud9, Team Liquid, Golden Guardians, and Evil Geniuses.
Previously, he coached 100 Thieves Academy and Disguised in the North American Challengers League (NACL). During his tenure with 100T Academy, he achieved success by winning the LCS Proving Grounds 2021 Summer. Later, in 2023, he re-iterated his exploits and won the NACL Summer Split while coaching for DSG.
The American player's return to the LCS and reunion with 100 Thieves marks a significant addition, leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience as a veteran of the LCS stage. Now a coach, Goldenglue's presence is expected to contribute significantly to the development of the young 100 Thieves roster.
This marks a notable transformation for 100 Thieves from the previous year, with only their mid laner Quid having remained with the organization. The inclusion of Goldenglue as a coach introduces a valuable veteran presence to the coaching staff, complementing the team's mix of young talent and seasoned leadership as they gear up for new challenges in the 2024 LCS season.
