Famous influencer Ibai sets his sight on new horizons.
EDIT: This news have now been confirmed with an official announcement.
According to multiple sources with knowledge of ongoing negotiations, Sheep Esports has learned that Ibai Llanos, the founder of KOI, is reportedly set to part ways with Infinite Reality, the current owners of KOI and the former Rogue Brand.
The decision by Llanos, better known as Ibai, has reportedly been months in the making and would see him leave after extensive negotiations over his exit. Sources say that he is now in the process of planning a new project.
Ibai and his partner, Gerard Piqué, joined Infinite Reality last year as part of a merger between Rogue and KOI. This merger resulted in the retirement of the Rogue Brand, with all line-ups being renamed under the Spanish streamer's brand.
At the moment, Sheep Esports' sources cannot definitively confirm Ibai's plans regarding the direction of his new project. However, work is already underway following his announcement of departure from Infinite Reality.
