Both players are reuniting after previously playing together at EINS in 2023
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, toplaner Mahdi "Pride" Nasserzadeh has reached a verbal agreement to return to Eintracht Spandau (EINS) in the Prime League, while support Philipp Samuel "Lilipp" Englert will re-sign with the organization.
Known faces to use their experience
Lilipp is gearing up for his third year with the German club. The veteran has become a staple of the league, having played since its creation in 2020. However, 2024 has been his best year yet, marked by his first-ever split victory in Spring, leading to the biggest title of his career: the 2024 EMEA Masters championship with EINS and a "super team" of players. This recent success follows a challenging period in 2021, when he played a split in the LEC with SK Gaming in the Summer, promoted from the academy under difficult circumstances. The team’s issues that season made it hard for him to fully showcase his abilities in such a short time.
On the toplane, EINS are bringing back a familiar face—a 26-year-old veteran who previously played with them in 2022 and 2023. This past year, he joined the LFL roster of GameWard, a team that, while not achieving major success, fought valiantly, especially in the Summer, where they surprisingly outperformed Gentle Mates and Solary in a dramatic playoff race despite not being the favorites. Though he didn’t achieve notable success in the French league, he’s now returning to his home team and is set to play alongside Lilipp after they played together in 2023.
Between entertainment and performance
Last October, Eintracht Spandau announced that they will remain in the Prime League next year, but will be looking to build an entertainment team rather than a roster that focuses on competitive results only. Now, we know the team is retaining its support and midlane while making changes to its toplaner, AD Carry, and jungler. The 2024 super team, which claimed victory in the Spring EMEA Masters, is sticking to its core, but has decided streamer and former pro player Daniel "Broeki" Broekmann will play on the botlane alongside experienced veterans. They are still in search of a final player to complete the jungle role.
On paper, the team is packed with experience, featuring numerous players who have been on the competitive circuit for many years. While it is hard to predict whether the team is going to perform and contend for the Prime League title like last year, they should at least promise to be quite entertaining.

- Toplane: Mahdi "Pride" Nasserzadeh
- Jungle: ?
