r1nkle moves to NIP while headtr1ck is traded to B8, pending ongoing negotiations.
AWPer Artem "r1nkle" Moroz has reached a verbal agreement to join Swedish organization Ninjas in Pyjamas, sources told Sheep Esports on Thursday. This move is part of a deal with Ukrainian organization B8, which will attempt to secure Danyyl "headtr1ck" Valitov as a counterpart, pending advanced ongoing negotiations.
After headtr1ck was benched from NIP in February, the team has since been looking for new players to fill and improve its former roster. Now, the young Ukrainian sniper is set to get his first big opportunity in a major team. Only 19 years old, r1nkle has proved impressive with his former team, offering several months' worth of promising performances.
The former starting player of Ninjas in Pyjamas is now expected to join the all-Ukrainian organization, exchanging places with the talented rookie. In the past, he was most known for his time under Natus Vincere Junior.
Currently, Ninjas in Pyjamas' rebuild is still ongoing, as the organization has missed its first major since 2018. So far, r1nkle represents the third member to be locked into the Swedish organization's roster after Alejandro "alex" Masanet and Fredrik "REZ" Sterner were confirmed to continue with the team. The team has also recently signed Richard "Xizt" Landström as its new coach.
