He played with GO in 2023 and rejoins the organization for his fourth year in the LFL
Onurcan "Ragner" Aslan has reached a verbal agreement with Team GO in the LFL, sources tell Sheep Esports. He will take over the spot left by Eren "Lot" Yıldız and is the last known player set to play with the Red Storm in 2025. Ragner also had interest from several TCL teams over the offseason.
Who is Ragner?
The toplaner is widely regarded as one of the best in the LFL at his position since joining the league with LDLC OL in 2022. Before coming to play in France, he played in the TCL and went through five different teams in just three and a half years. There, he never achieved better than a third-place finish in Summer 2019 and Winter 2021. However, upon arriving in the LFL, he made a spectacular entrance by winning both the Spring and Summer splits of LFL 2022 with the super team LDLC OL had built, alongside players like Martin "Yike" Sundelin and Thomas "Exakick" Foucou.
He then spent a year with Team GO in 2023 as part of a new super team that already included Jean "Jezu" Massol, and together they won the Coupe de France on the stage of the Paris Games Week. This was unfortunately followed by a disappointing year with Gentle Mates this year. Overall, after three years in the LFL with different teams, Ragner participated in the EMEA Masters five times, consistently being one of the key factors for his team’s qualification for the event. He reached the semifinals twice and the finals once with LDLC OL, but fell short against Karmine Corp, who were already building their legend in the tournament.
This year, although his results with M8 were disappointing (3rd in Spring, 8th in Summer), Ragner had a very strong Spring split. Despite having a poor win rate for the year due to the team’s dysfunction, he remains the third-best toplaner in the LFL with a score of 64/100 according to Sheep Stats.
