Large Ambitions
Having first begun their competitive journey in 2022, Ramboot Club will be one of the fastest growing clubs in Spain to join the LVP SuperLiga in 2024. Shocking the competition in its first competitive year, the team first entered the Liga Nexo with a fulgurant performance, winning the league and crowning itself as the best member of the amateur circuit.
This year, the team was promoted to the SuperLiga's 2nd division and achieved decent results there. Ending the spring split in 3rd position, the team would prove itself as a major contender to potentially move up in 2024. Despite later struggling in the later half of the year, the team remain an exciting prospect to now join the Spanish EMEA Regional League.
Making an impressive first move, the team has now locked its full roster. With former EMEA Masters champion and top laner Marcin "iBo" Lebuda at the helm, the team has struck hard in this off-season despite a late entry in the league. To accompany him, the team also reached agreement with jungler Dimitar "LeBron" Kostadinov who has recently earned promotion for Case Esports by winning the 2nd Division twice and beating UCAM in the promotion tournament.
Filling the rest of its roster, the team is also expected to field Bulgarian mid laner Mihail "twohoyrz" Petkov, who had a short LEC stint in the summer of 2021 with SK Gaming. In recent times, he was also known for competing both in the LVP SuperLiga 1st Division with Barça Esports and in the LFL with GameWard.
To conclude its roster, the team also made the acquisition of Spanish veteran bot laner Michael "Rayito" Curtet Jaimes who will be paired for the first time with Swedish rookie support Simon "Seneca" Bucht, who played for the club this year in the Iberian Cup.
Now assembled for the coming year, Ramboot is ready to take on new challenges and prove itself for the first time in the 1st Division. Along with ZETA and Guasones, they will be the third team to be given a spot outside of Case Esports, who were naturally promoted.
