Ruep and Patch previously played together in the Summer 2024 split with Dark Passage
AD Carry İlker "Ruep" Bilen and support Han "Patch" Seung-min are set to join Beşiktaş Esports in the Turkish Championship League (TCL) for the upcoming split, according to sources close to Sheep Esports. The Turkish botlaner previously competed in both the Winter and Spring splits with Eternal Fire, while the Korean support arrives from BoostGate Esports, with whom he won the Spring Split and reached the quarterfinals of the EMEA Masters.
Beşiktaş Esports, on their side, finished fifth in the most recent TCL split and were eliminated early in the playoffs by BBL Dark Passage. The Winter Split had followed a similar pattern, with a first-round playoff loss to Misa Esports. It's also worth noting that Ruep and Patch will be the team’s fourth ADC and second support in just three splits. Beşiktaş started the year with Matúš "Neon" Jakubčík and Taha "Paixdia" Barış Elmas in Winter, then rotated between ADC Emre "Lens" Tanyeri and Ahmet "Six0x" Can Demir in Spring—now turning to Ruep and Patch for the upcoming split.
The two players reunite
This won’t be the first time Ruep and Patch form a botlane together. Back in Summer 2024, the two played for Dark Passage and had a solid run, reaching the TCL final before narrowly losing 3–2 to Papara SuperMassive. They then qualified for the EMEA Masters but were knocked out in the first round of playoffs by Team GO. Ruep, a 22-year-old Turkish botlaner, began his career in 2021 with the academy teams of Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, before breaking into the TCL at the end of 2022. He later joined Eternal Fire in 2023, then BoostGate Esports in early 2024 where he played his first EMEA Masters, before returning to Dark Passage for the Summer Split. More recently, he went back to Eternal Fire and had a strong Winter Split, reaching the final, but the team couldn’t maintain momentum and finished eighth in Spring.
Patch’s trajectory has been quite different. The Korean support started his career in the amateur scene, competing in the KeSPA Cup in 2017 and 2019 before moving to China and joining ThunderTalk Gaming. He played the 2021 LPL Summer Split alongside Lee "Hans SamD" Jae-hoon, who recently joined Natus Vincere (NAVI) in the LEC. Patch later moved to the TCL with NASR eSports, reaching the Summer 2023 final and making his first EMEA Masters appearance. He reunited with Ruep at Dark Passage in Summer 2024, then joined BoostGate in 2025, where he won the Spring Split and reached the quarterfinals of the EMEA Masters—falling to the reigning and eventual champions, Los Ratones.
