The 17-year-old NLC champion joins the LFL
Going from LFL's third division to LFL in less than a year, Jungler Theo "Theocacs" Sauda is set for his next step. The 17-year-old played with Nameless in the Nexus Tour alongside players such as Dylan "Tiky" Sorrentino earlier this year.
In 2025, Theo will see a little upgrade and play with Daniel "Sertuss" Gamani in the midlane — both players are reportedly set to join Ici Japon Corp in the LFL. This information was told by sources to Sheep Esports on Sunday after both parties reached a verbal agreement.
Already an ERL Champion
Theocacs did see significant growth during the year already as he joined Venomcrest Esports in the NLC back in May. With Venomcrest, Theocacs won the NLC Summer Split Playoffs and earned a place in the EMEA Masters Main Stage. He was the youngest player in the tournament.
At the tournament, Theocacs and his team finished with a score of 3-4 in the Swiss Stage, barely missing out on the next stage by one game.
An offseason journey to the LFL
At only 17 years old, Theocacs has been seen by several LFL teams as an upcoming prospect. He notably received interest from Joblife earlier this week. Theocacs was also a part of the Karmine Corp Blue tryouts earlier during the offseason, but wasn't retained as a top candidate for the position. In the end, Theocacs accepted an offer from newly promoted LFL team Ici Japon Corp and is the second player joining the roster.
