TSM is rebuilding their CS2 team by assembling a full Danish roster
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand and Alexander "Altekz" Givskov have reached a verbal agreement with TSM to join their CS2 team as new players. TSM is undergoing a nearly complete rebuild of their team, with these two Danish players being the new additions, pending the signing of a fifth player.
Multiple sources indicate that TSM is rebuilding the team with a full Danish roster. The North American organization already had two Danish players, Valdemar "valde" Vangså and Rasmus "Zyphon" Nordfoss, along with coach Allan "Rejin" Petersen, who are expected to remain with the team. Additionally, Altekz and acoR, both Danish players, are joining the roster, and TSM is waiting to sign a fifth Danish player, with various options being considered.
Altekz has been tapped to join TSM after nine months with Preasy. His time with the Danish organization came to an end at the start of April after they released their lineup due to financial issues. During his time with the squad, Altekz maintained an impressive 1.11 rating over 258 maps. Sheep Esports understands that Altekz was initially set to join Norwegian organization Apeks, however the planned move was shelved due to Apeks undergoing a full rebuild after benching their lineup in early May. acoR spent a year and a half with GamerLegion between September 2022 and April 2024. He reached the final of the Paris Major last year.
Back to 2015
The fifth player has not yet been decided, and TSM is considering various interesting Danish names for the organization. Additionally, TSM is reportedly close to selling one of their two inactive players, Mădălin-Andrei "MoDo" Mirea or Timofey "interz" Yakushin, to a European organization.
If these changes occur, TSM - who came back on CS last year - would return to its roots in 2015 when they signed a Danish roster with legends such as Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth, Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz, René "cajunb" Borg, and Finn "karrigan" Andersen. The trend of forming rosters of a single nationality is becoming less common, but it appears that the exception continues to be Danish rosters.
