Valiant were already present on VALORANT, TFT or Rocket League
Valiant will be one of the new teams joining LFL Division 2 (Div2) in 2025, sources have told Sheep Esports. Established in 2022, Valiant is entering the League of Legends ecosystem for the first time, having previously competed in Riot Games titles such as VALORANT and TFT, as well as Rocket League and Fortnite.
Div2 is once again seeing significant changes this year, resulting in a landscape very different from what was expected based on end-of-season results. Ici Japon Corp dominated throughout 2024, securing both splits and winning the Up&Down, which relegated AEGIS from the LFL to Div2. However, AEGIS opted to exit the League of Legends scene entirely and disbanded their roster, leaving an open slot. Meanwhile, Joblife earned a promotion after Riot Games approved their application to fill the spot left by Team du Sud, which recently ceased operations. As a result, one of the vacant Div2 slots will be filled by Valiant.
Who are they?
The club first found success in VALORANT, notably becoming the French Cup champion in 2023 after defeating Akroma and finishing in the top three at the Fortnite World Cup the same year, thanks to Nikola "TruleX" Kruduji performance with his duo. In 2024, Valiant secured 3rd and 2nd place in both splits of the French VALORANT league, firmly establishing themselves in the competitive scene. As they continue to grow, the team is now logically expanding into League of Legends and is in the process of assembling their first roster of players.
