Two DNSTY players are set to join Apeks together
As Apeks prepares to participate in the Esports World Cup EMEA Open Qualifiers, they’ve recruited two new players to join their roster, to play exclusively in the Esports World Cup (for the moment). Sheep Esports sources have confirmed that the team has reached a verbal agreement with Aliaksander “SimonD4rk” Skoubel and Alessandro “Tag” Voci.
These two players are currently both on DNSTY, a Tier 2 team that plays in the VALORANT Challengers League Spain. After several weeks of trialing numerous players, Apeks decided to put their trust in the promising duo from DNSTY. The two players are currently set to play for Apeks only for the duration of the EWC qualifiers.
Two experienced Tier 2 players
SimonD4rk is a 23-year old player from Belarus, with multiple years of experience on different rosters. In Tier 2 VALORANT, SimonD4rk has placed first multiple times in VCL leagues. On R8 Esports in 2024, he won both split 1 and 2 of the VCL Levant and North Africa. And in 2021, SimonD4rk played in the VCT Masters on the team tyeasy.
Tag is a 21-year old Italian player with years of success in the VCL Italy, where on team DSYRE, he won three out of the four splits over 2023 and 2024, placing second in the other. Tag and DSYRE then played in the VCT Ascension EMEA, where he placed 5th-6th, a solid performance, but not managing to qualify to the Tier 1 level of play.
Most recently, SimonD4rk and Tag made it together to the playoffs of the VCL on DNSTY, where they lost in a close 2-3 to KOI Fénix. Now, they’ll be joining Apeks, a team that recently placed last in Stage 1 of the 2025 VCT EMEA, in their attempt to qualify for the Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia. Whether or not these two players can make the difference for Apeks during the qualifiers is to be seen.
