Both players come from the VCL scene—Katu from NOVO and Chadi from Ramboot
Kacper "Katu" Twórz and Farsang "Chadi" Balázs have reached a verbal agreement with UCAM Esports in the Spanish VCL, according to Sheep Esports sources. The two players are set to replace Karel "Flickless" Maeckelbergh and Eduard-George "ara" Hanceriuc, who were both promoted to VALORANT EMEA Tier 1 with GIANTX, as previously reported by Sheep Esports.
Katu, an experienced player
The 23-year-old Polish player is no stranger to the Spanish VALORANT scene. He played for Anonymo Esports in 2023 during VALORANT Challengers 2023 East: Surge Splits 1 and 2, where he secured a podium finish, before moving to Spain to join Ramboot Club in the VCL. With them, he placed 3rd in the VALORANT Challengers 2024 Spain: Rising Split 1 and 4th in the following split. In early 2025, he joined NOVO Esports, though the results there were less convincing.
A new duelist in the team
The new duelist is quite well-known in the Hungarian VALORANT scene, having won several Tier-C events in 2021 and 2022 with teams like WiLD MultiGaming, IPon Esport, and Rapid Ninjas. He then joined GoNext Esports in VALORANT Challengers 2023 East. After stints with other teams in the East VALORANT scene, he moved to Spain in 2025, joining Ramboot, where unfortunately things didn’t go well, finishing 8th during both Stage 1 and 2.
After falling short in the semifinals of Stage 1 and the finals of Stage 2, UCAM Esports will aim to maintain their momentum despite recent roster changes and qualify for VALORANT Challengers 2025 EMEA: Stage 2, which they’ll take part in starting May 19. They’ve been placed in Group D alongside Valiant and Enterprise Esports.
