BDS upsets G2, Heretics show promise against Vitality, KC and Fnatic start the week strong
Week 4 of the LEC delivered its fair share of surprises and upsets. BDS stunned G2 Esports with a clean 2-0, climbing to 5th place with a 3-3 record. Team Vitality fell to Team Heretics but bounced back convincingly against Movistar KOI. Rogue managed a win over SK Gaming after a tough loss to Fnatic. Meanwhile, Karmine Corp took down GIANTX, who now sit at the bottom of the standings. With that win, KC now stand alone at the top of the table at 5-1.

The Sheep Esports' LEC Team of the Week features Kim "Canna" Chang-dong in the toplane, Théo "Sheo" Borile in the jungle, Ilias "nuc" Bizriken in the midlane, with Elias "Upset" Lipp and Polat "Parus" Furkan Çiçek joining forces in the botlane.
Top: Canna
The toplane was highly contested this week, with several standout performances from players like Kaan "Naak Nako" Okan and Óscar "Oscarinin" Muñoz. But it was Karmine Corp’s toplaner, Canna, who made the strongest impression. His Game 1 Rumble was decisive, finding a crucial flank that turned the tide. Despite the Game 2 loss, his Gnar showcased solid teamfighting, and he closed out the series with a dominant Renekton performance, creating space for his carries to shine. The Korean toplaner played a key role in KC’s win over Heretics, helping the team secure sole possession of first place.
Jungle: Sheo
The jungle role was another tough call this week. Doğukan "113" Balcı made a strong case with his solid performance against G2, and Iván "Razork" Martín impressed in Fnatic’s win over Rogue. But the standout for us was undoubtedly Sheo. The French jungler was the driving force behind Heretics' victory over Vitality, delivering a near-flawless Sejuani game—participating in 18 of his team’s 21 kills and landing multiple clutch ultimates on enemy carries. His Game 2 on Wukong was just as impactful, with over 83% kill participation and a presence that earned him the MVP of the series.
Mid: nuc
There’s no debate when it comes to the midlane this week. The Moroccan midlaner showed up in style against Rasmus "Caps" Winther. While G2 squandered significant leads in both games—nearly 6k gold in Game 2—nuc was a rock for the Swiss side. He solo killed Caps at the 4-minute mark in Game 1 and played a key role in securing the win. In Game 2, his Viktor proved well worth the scaling investment, ending with over 40,000 damage dealt. Thanks to his consistency and clutch moments, BDS managed to take down G2. Right now, he’s definitely one of the best midlaners in Europe.
ADC: Upset
Second appearance in our Team of the Week this Spring Split for Upset—and well deserved. The German AD Carry delivered a flawless Bo3 against Rogue, starting with a dominant 6/0/2 Kalista in Game 1, followed by a Miss Fortune performance where he was involved in 11 of Fnatic’s 13 kills. For two splits now, Upset has been one of Fnatic’s most vital pieces. As seen in the Winter Split, he continues to be a consistent carry, and his perfect KDA this week reflects his clean, calculated playstyle. He didn’t die once in the series and remained central to almost every play—further proof that Fnatic’s game plan revolves heavily around their botlane.
Support: Parus
Things are clicking better and better for BDS, especially for Parus, who had a tough Winter Split. The BDS botlane gave G2 a real challenge this week. In Game 1, Parus’ Leona provided solid peel and frontline for his carries, while Game 2 saw him on Rakan in a much tougher scenario. Despite BDS falling behind, it was Parus who turned the tides with a clutch Flash–Ultimate engage onto Steven "Hans Sama" Liv at the 35-minute mark. That fight secured Elder Drake and the game for BDS, tying them with Heretics at 3-3. A standout performance from the Turkish support, showing real progress and confidence.
