After a split playing support, Nisqy returns to the midlane
Karmine Corp have announced the arrival of Yasin "Nisqy" Dinçer as a substitute midlaner for their LEC roster in the 2025 Summer Split. The Belgium Turkish player, who shares strong ties with KC and founder Kamel "Kameto" Kebir, joins the French organization with the goal of staying in form and increasing his chances of finding a new team for 2026, having gone without a roster for this Summer Split.
Nearing 27 years old, Nisqy already has a long and accomplished career behind him. He began competing in 2015 in smaller tournaments before joining Fnatic Academy in the EUCS in 2017. His strong performances earned him a spot with Splyce in 2018, where he finished third in the Spring Split. In 2019, he made the move to North America, joining Cloud9 and playing in his first international event — the World Championship. He also captured his first major trophy there, winning the 2020 LCS Spring Split.
In 2021, Nisqy returned to Europe with Fnatic in the LEC, qualifying once again for Worlds, before moving to MAD Lions where he continued to prove his value. With MAD, he won the LEC title in 2023 and made two Worlds appearances and one at MSI. In early 2024, he joined SK Gaming, and despite decent regular season results in Winter and Summer, the team couldn't climb higher than fifth. Without a team at the end of the year, Nisqy took a split off before briefly joining Team Vitality as a support — a role that didn’t pan out as the team failed to reach playoffs. Now, he joins Karmine Corp as a substitute for Vladimiros "Vladi" Kourtidis, who remains the starting midlaner.
A mentorship role
In an interview accompanying the announcement, Nisqy explained that this decision should help him find a team more easily next year. He also emphasized his intention to support Vladi — whether through 1v1s, advice on matchups, macro plays, the meta, or item builds. Nisqy believes he can bring value to the team not only through his experience, but also by contributing to communication and providing constructive feedback to the players.
Karmine Corp’s head coach, Rehareha "Reha" Ramanana, also commented on Nisqy’s arrival, describing him as a strong midlane option thanks to his experience and game knowledge. He added that while Nisqy could see playtime, he’s not being brought in as part of a six-man roster. For now, it will be Vladi who holds the starting midlane position for the LEC Winter Split champions.
