Odoamne returns to competition after a split off, during which he appeared on the LEC broadcast
Andrei "Odoamne" Pascu is joining Los Ratones as the team's Assistant Coach starting from the 2025 NLC Spring Split. The announcement, made on the organization’s social media this Thursday, doesn’t come as much of a surprise, as Odoamne had already been heavily involved with the team, particularly in supporting their toplaner, Simon "Baus" Hofverberg, during the Winter Split.
Marc "Caedrel" Lamont had already publicly thanked the former player after their victory at the recent EMEA Masters Winter Split, highlighting how crucial it is for such a young organization—still finding its footing—to have experienced players who know how to guide the team and roster in the right direction. With his 10 years of experience as a toplaner in Europe, there’s no doubt that Odoamne will bring significant value to match preparation. This is even more important now that Los Ratones holds the status of a European powerhouse that must defend its title.
A key figure in Europe
Odoamne was recently seen mostly on the official Riot Games LEC stream, where he took on the role of desk analyst and conducted post-game interviews with players. Additionally, Odoamne himself confirmed that his new role on Los Ratones' coaching staff won't prevent him from continuing his work on the official LEC broadcast. Since LEC and NLC match days don’t overlap, he plans to balance both roles simultaneously. But before finding himself in this position, he had a long and illustrious playing career, experiencing both the highs and lows of the league.
This marks his return to competition after officially leaving GIANTX in the LEC in August 2024. Looking back, Odoamne is one of the most experienced toplaners in the European region. Having played for H2K-Gaming, Splyce, Schalke 04, Rogue, and GIANTX, he stands as a model of longevity and resilience. Despite competing at the highest level for over a decade, he has only secured one European title, winning the LEC Summer Split with Rogue in 2022. He has also qualified for Worlds four times, with his best international run coming in 2016 with H2K alongside Marcin "Jankos" Jankowski, where they reached the semifinals—only to be crushed 3-0 by Samsung Galaxy, led by Park "Ruler" Jae-hyuk.
