At 19 years old, marlon, a talented Polish support player, is set to embark on an exciting new chapter in his esports career as he joins the Movistar Riders. Prior to joining the squad, the support player previously competed under the banner of Los Heretics in the SuperLiga. Despite facing challenges with them, including a 5th-place finish in the summer split, Marlon contributed significantly to the team's success in 2023 with a notable 2nd-place in the spring split. Most recently, marlon also won the Iberian Cup with HRTS prior to reaching this agreement with his new team.
Earlier this off-season, the team was also reported to have struck an agreement with Serbian bot laner Đorđe "Shy Carry" Stišović. Together, the two 19-year-olds will form one of the youngest bot lane in the league. While they have not yet played together in past teams, the both of them are very skilled players in their own rights and are expected to bring new perspectives to the SuperLiga.
With this move, the team has now finalized its roster and will now attempt to continue its strong performances going into the 2024 competitive season. This year, Movistar Riders achieved some of the best results of any ERL teams as they won two splits consecutively in their regional league and also attended the EMEA Masters Grand Finals in Montpellier during the summer split, where they unfortunately fell to Karmine Corp in a 5-game series.
