Former M8 and Leviatán player is coming back to the VCT
According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Nathan "nataNk" Bocqueho has reached a verbal agreement with KOI to become the new starting player of the team for the 2025 VCT EMEA season. Last February, nataNk was benched at Leviatán after joining them three months before, the team allowed nataNk to explore his options and find a team without complications.. This marks his return to the highest European level. He joins KOI’s new project alongside new head coach Simone "simoz" Giovannini, Kamil “baddyG” Graniczka and Ondřej "MONSTEERR" Petrů.
Back in Europe
NatanK is a French VALORANT player who has steadily climbed the European competitive ranks since his debut. His career took a major leap forward in 2023 when he joined SBG (currently known as Gentle Mates) for their debut year in VALORANT Challengers France. Alongside a talented core, nataNk played a pivotal role in one of the most dominant seasons in French VALORANT history. Gentle Mates won both splits of the regional league and went on to claim the Ascension title, securing promotion to the VCT EMEA for the 2024 season—an extraordinary achievement for a new organization in its very first year of competition.
He reached the most prestigious European league with Gentle Mates, but quickly faced a reality check. The team struggled to replicate their previous dominance and hit a ceiling at the international level, spending most of the year near the bottom of the standings across both splits. At the end of the 2024 season, he was released and went on to join Leviatán in December. However, success continued to elude him—following a disappointing run in the VCT Americas Kickoff event, he was benched in favor of Daniel “Rossy” Abedrabbo. Now, nataNk returns to Europe by joining KOI—an organization also looking to bounce back after a slow start to 2025. With their project stalled following a failure to reach playoffs in Split 1, KOI is betting on nataNk to help revive their season and bring fresh momentum to the roster.
