Team Vitality announced on X on Friday that the Hive has temporarily signed the former DVM roster to allow players to compete in the remainder of VALORANT Challengers France Split 2, following their team’s exclusion from the league. The players will play under the Vitality banner as "VIT.Revolution" starting next Saturday for the Playoffs.

Team Vitality clarified that the decision was made in coordination with the players, DVM, and Riot Games, to allow the players to continue competing without being penalized for the events involving DVM during the Challengers Day in the Arènes d'Évry-Courcouronnes. As a reminder, the team had been excluded following altercations between DVM and Joblife supporters, during which blows were allegedly initiated by DVM fans, according to eyewitnesses present at the scene.

The match between the two teams was subsequently cancelled on-site. In the days that followed, Webedia—the organizer of the Challengers France—initially suspended DVM for the remainder of the Split, before escalating the sanction and ultimately expelling the organization altogether. The fate of the players remained uncertain for a time, though the tournament organizer clarified that the roster would be permitted to continue competing, albeit without representing DVM.

A roster that will stay together

As an organization involved in the amateur, semi-pro, and Tier 2 esports ecosystem, Vitality saw it as a natural step to support the roster composed of Ștefan "Sayonara" Mîtcu, Ryad "Shin" Ensaad, Tyler "Foxie" Lowton, Logan "Logan" Coffey, Lucas "lux9" Danna, Peter "Spin" Bradford, and Kostas "tsack" Theodoropoulos. As a reminder, Sayonara is already a Team Vitality player, as previously reported by Sheep Esports. He was on loan to DVM while waiting to reach the minimum age required to compete in the VCT.

Additionally, Vitality has previously competed in the French championship prior to its promotion to the VCT. The Bees exited their national league on a high note, having secured the title during the second Split of the 2022 season.
