Maynter picked Karmine Corp Blue over Vitality Bee
According to sources from Sheep Esports, Ukrainian toplaner Volodymyr “Maynter” Sorokin, who spent much of the year stranded in his home country due to the war, has reached a verbal agreement with Karmine Corp Blue (KCB) for the upcoming LFL season.
Despite interest from Vitality, Maynter chose to remain with KCB, according to our information. After dominating Div2 with Team du Sud in 2023, Maynter joined KCB in 2024 as a highly promising rookie. He quickly lived up to the expectations, establishing himself as a true standout in his role.
Massive champion pool
Maynter was arguably KCB’s most consistent player this season. Whether playing tanks (K'Sante, Ornn), bruisers (Aatrox), or carries (Rumble), he showcased a wide champion pool and exceptional skill on the Summoner's Rift. Ranked as the third-best toplaner in the league during the spring, according to Sheep Stats, Maynter was a key figure in his team's impressive run to the spring title—playing the grand final remotely from Ukraine, while it was held on stage in Paris.
Although KCB fell short in the summer split final, Maynter's individual performance improved even further, earning him the title of the league’s second-best toplaner by the end of the season.
